La Bisbal d'Empordà has many cultural activities and services so all visitors can enjoy the city from its many different points of interest: crafts, shopping, ceramics, heritage sites, fairs and markets, antiquities, castles, history, etc.
Over the centuries, pottery has been the most emblematic economic activity in La Bisbal d'Empordà, a traditional industry that has left behind a significant material heritage. Terracotta Pottery Museum has a permanent collection of over 10.000 items including ceramic pieces, manufacturing tools and utensils. Located in a former factory, the Museum exhibition includes elements of the production process (chimneys, kilns, etc) with the building itself as one of the main points of interest.
